Helen graduated from the Law Faculty of the University of Athens in 1990. She holds a Master of Laws Degree (LLM) in Maritime Law of University College London. She was admitted in the Piraeus Bar Association in 1992 and is qualified to practice before Greek Courts of all levels. She is a member of Women International Shipping and Trading Association Hellas (W.I.S.T.A. Hellas).

Helen, with over 30 years of experience, is our partner leading the firm’s shipping law/ maritime department, responsible for all relevant cases including marine insurance, ships’ sale and purchase, salvage and towage, ships’ arrest, cargo claims, bills of lading, charterparties, marine labour claims, pollutions and collisions.  Helen practices in company and commercial law as well. She has a long-lasting practice in civil and commercial litigation and has also been involved in a number of product liability cases in the car industry. In all the above areas Helen represents international and domestic corporate clients, as well as individuals. She speaks fluently English and has knowledge of French.
